We can’t thank you enough for your loyal and dedicated support. Our vision has always involved helping you, the player, tilt the wagering field, through the art of selecting winners, in your direction. The other critical Picks4Players component is our commitment to giving our advice for free. That’s right, F.R.E.E. FREE!!!!! We always have, and we’re committed to keeping our site that way, so please spread the word.
An update: With 3 games remaining in the 2009-2010 National Football League season, your partners here at Picks4Players are in 2nd place, 170 essentially meaningless points out of first place in the 30th Annual National Handicapper’s Bowl, as featured in Pro Football Weekly. We are competing with primarily pay for pick sites, and amongst the large number of competitors, we only trail the defending champion and pay for pick giant, Maddux Sports. We’re very proud of our accomplishment’s thus far, but we are by no means satisfied. We feel VERY strong about both conference Championship games today.
In Game 1 today, with kick-off set for 3:00 pm EST from Lukas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the Colts will host the brash, upstart New York Jets in a rematch of their controversial week 16 game, when the previously undefeated Colts rested Peyton Manning and a number of other starters and greased the way for the JETS to sneak into the playoffs. The JETS have taken that win and ridden the Rex Ryan emotional wave to multiple wins over the Bengals, then beat the Chargers on their way to this surprising rematch with the Colts. The Colts are an 8-point favorite with a point TOTAL of 40. We expect Darrel Revis to lock down Reggie Wayne, but expect Manning and the Colts to remain patient by utilizing his other weapons. The JETS will try to control clock with their strong ground game and take occasional chances down field to Braylon Edwards. If the JETS get behind early they will have to abandon this strategy and open things up a little. You know Manning and the Colts will move the ball and score. The 8-point spread is usually a little beyond our comfort zone in a playoff situation. OUR SELECTION: OVER 40
In the finale tonight, Adrian Peterson, Brett Favre, Jared Allen and the Minnesota Vikings travel to the Big Easy for the NFC Championship game that will be anything but easy against Sean Payton’s, Drew Brees led, New Orleans Saints. What a game this will be. The story lines are endless and the over / under TOTAL of Kim Kardashian sightings in Reggie Bush’s box at the SuperDome is 5. In fact, Who datville along with a nationwide Fox audience will be looking at Kim Kardashian’s Bush all evening as Reggie will be a featured weapon today. The host NewOrleans Saints are a 3 1/2-point favorite with a point TOTAL of 53 1/2. The Vikings would be smart to give the Saints D a heavy dose of AP all daylong to keep Brees and Bush off the field, but smart and Favre are not typically used in the same sentence unless the word ass is attached. So expect Favre to force passes that aren’t there and misuse the best running back in the game to the point that his touches are inconsistent and his propensity to fumble accentuated. That being said however, Minnesota is on a roll and feeling very good about themselves. Favre is definitely in his element and being one step away from another Super Bowl has the Twin Cities giddy. Even if the Vikings are successful in keeping the Saints offense off the field, both teams will move the ball. Both teams will score. OUR SELECTION: OVER 53 1/2
Play wise, play smart, play on, Players!!!!! Check back with us on Monday for an update.
