Week # 11 of the National Football League, where has the season gone?

November 16, 2008 by Crit Dahippo

As previously stated on this site and on numerous occasions, the NFL is the best form of entertainment going.  The best of reality TV, competition, and action, 16 times this weekend.  Oh by the way, the NFL weekend starts Thursday and concludes Monday.  Brilliant!  Each of the 32 teams has there own story, drama, and soap opera activity going on and while the Giants and Titans appear to be headed for a Super Bowl match-up, there is still a ton of football to be played and this season, more than most, it appears that the teams that can best get their stuff together, their house in order, and their rosters healthy have a big opportunity in pursuit of this season’s championship. Enough with my ramblings, on with our Super Star Selections for week # 11 of the NFL.  Good luck and enjoy the day.

Here are our top picks for NFL week 11, from your consultants at www.Picks4Players.com

Houston @ Indianapolis, 1pm est

Current Line: Indianapolis -9

Indy looks to make it 3 wins in a row after last weeks win over Pittsburgh.  Houston has lost 2 in a row and struggled last week at home against Baltimore.  We see a very motivated Colts offense this week as the drive for the playoffs starts now.  Marvin Harrison, it’s time to pull your head out, otherwise people will continue to think that you may be point shaving.  Catch the ball.

Our Pick: Indianapolis -9

Tennessee @ Jacksonville, 1pm est

Current Line: Tennessee -3

Tennessee travels on the road for the second straight week to face a Jacksonville team that might as well have had a bye last week when they blasted Detroit.  Tennessee is playing their 4th straight tough opponent.  We like the fact the Jacksonville is getting points at home.  Coach Del Rio’s motivational tactics over the last few weeks had the Jags stripped of some privileges only to earn them back with a little discipline and a swift A** kicking of the Lions.  These Jags will be ready to hit tonight. Our Pick: Jacksonville +3

San Diego @ Pittsburgh, 4:15pm est

Current Line: Pittsburgh -5

With San Diego struggling against Kansas City last week and Pittsburgh losing a tough one against Indy, we see a highly motivated Steeler team ready to give the home fans something to cheer about. Look for the #1 ranked Pittsburgh defense to dominate in the cold weather, and look for appearances from Sour LT and Finger pointing Phillip Rivers.  This won’t be fun for Charger fans.  On the bright side you’ll get to see Norv Turner’s face all day long looking like he just drank a gallon of spoiled milk. Our Pick: Pittsburgh -5

St. Louis @ San Francisco, 4:05pm est

Current Line: San Francisco -6 ½

Samurai Mike will have his 49er team ready for a big bounce back after Monday’s bitter loss.  St. Louis has thrown in the towel and without Steven Jackson they won’t have much hope to generate anything offensively.

Our Pick: San Francisco -6 ½

Here are some other money makers:

Minnesota @ Tampa Bay, 1pm est

Our Pick: Tampa Bay -4

OVER/UNDER Selections

Baltimore @ NY Giants, 1pm est

Our Pick: Under 41 ½

New Orleans @ Kansas City, 1pm est

Our Pick: OVER 50 ½

Play wise, play smart, play on!! Players.
